Chris Ensoll

As an international mountain guide, Chris spends most of the summer in the Alps but will be with us again in Sept to share what God has been teaching him on the roof of the world. Chris’ lively and engaging preaching has been a source of great encouragement and inspiration to the church.

John Bowyer

A Geologist previously working in international oil exploration, Jonathon now lives with his wife and two boys in Coniston where he runs a management training company. Jonathan brings his academic and scientific background to bear as he teaches on a variety of subjects.

Ian Woods

Former Olympic Biathlete and Soldier, Ian now lives in South Lakes with his wife Nicki and their five children where he manages a management training company. As one time pastor of the church it is always a special time to welcome him back to enjoy his unique and razor sharp teaching ministry.

Paul Boustead

Local architect and Pastor of Cockermouth Christian Centre Paul has a unique homespun style of teaching the scriptures that people find easy to hear and apply to their lives

Henry Vyner-Brooks

As assistant pastor, Property developer, Landscape Architect, Christian Author and recording artist, Henry is currently spending 2008 preaching a 12 part series on the legal lineage of the messiah and particularly about those people who saw the will of God prevail; not despite them but because of them. These messages all come with unique songs written and performed live for the first time when Henry preaches this year. The 12 messages will then appear on the professionally recorded album as mp3 bonus material.

Derek Hetherington

As a retired engineer from the North east and now an elder of Cockermouth Christian centre, Derek brings 40 years Christian experience and spiritual depth to the teaching team, as well as a prophetic gift which is invaluable.

Brian Wilson

Brian is a retired Pentecostal pastor from the midlands who has been a wonderful friend of the church since it was planted over 13 years ago. With over 50 years in Christian service and bringing with him the gifts of prophecy, healing, faith, discernment, the meetings at which we are privileged to have him minister at are always especially blessed as we have seen countless miracles take place to the glory of God.

Dr Colin Slater

As senior audiologist for NHS in these parts there are not many children in West Cumbria who’s hearing have not benefited from this man’s professional ministry. Having said that, there not many people in West Cumbria who have heard him preach that have not been blessed his spiritual ministry. With a depth scriptural knowledge and burning enthusiasm rarely seen these days, Colin has been a great blessing and strength to the church in recent years.
